Infinix Note 11S is tipped to launch in the Indian market soon. Infinix India CEO, Anish Kapoor has teased the launch of the smartphone via a Twitter post. To recall, the handset was recently unveiled in Thailand featuring the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC at the helm. The company had previously confirmed the launch of the Note 11 and Note 11 Pro in India alongside the INBook X1 laptop. These devices are scheduled to launch in India alongside the Note 11S in December 2021.
In his tweet, Anish Kapoor posted an image showing the retail boxes of Infinix Note 11 and Infinix Note 11S with a caption saying, “For all the gamers in the house, get ready because there’s something special coming soon”, signifying that the Note 11S could be a gaming smartphone. With that said, the teaser post does not reveal the official launch date of the device.
Infinix Note 11S (Thailand variant) features a 6.95” FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. It packs 128GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 2TB).
As for the optics, the Infinix Note 11S sports a triple-rear camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor along with a couple of 2MP shooters. At the front, there is a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W Super Charge fast charging.
In terms of software, the Infinix Note 11S runs Android 11. The device which comes with face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication also sports dual speakers. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack etc.
