Reliance Jio effect: Idea revises Rs 309 prepaid plan, now offers 1.5GB data instead of 1 GB


The war between the telecom operators has become extremely beneficial for customers as all operators are now competing to provide the best data packs. Many essential operators are releasing affordable and efficient data packs to compete with Reliance Jio’s blitzkrieg promotions. 

In the beginning of this month, Idea cellular had introduced a prepaid plan for Rs 309 with 1GB availability for 28 days. In less than a month, the cellular company has come up with another prepaid plan. The offer on Idea for Rs 309 is still valid, only now you get 1.5GB high-speed data. This data pack includes 100 SMSes per day and unlimited local, national, and roaming calls.

Detel Mobiles and BSNL have joined hands to compete with Jio, read all about it. 

Although, there is one more thing, there is a restriction on the minutes you call someone in a day. The outgoing calls are 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. After the end of free calling, users will be charged 1 paise per second. Users will be not allowed to call more than 100 unique numbers in one week.

Reliance Jio plans

Reliance Jio is satisfying its customers with amazing packs and data plans. Jio has a plan for Rs 309 which has a validity for 49 days and 1GB data per day. After the user has exhausted the data pack, the speed will drop down to 64 Kbps. It also provides unlimited local and national calls. 

Airtel plans

Airtel has two plans of Rs 199 and Rs 349 with 28 days validity. It provides unlimited local, national and roaming calls. This plan offers 1GB of data per day. To get 2GB per day, the Rs 349 should be help you.

Vodafone plans

Vodafone also has two plans of Rs 198 and Rs 349 for 28 days with unlimited local, national, and roaming calls with 100 SMS per day. 1GB every day for Rs 198 and 2GB for Rs 349.
