Huawei brings Hungama streaming service on-board for AppGallery

Huawei has already introduced AppGallery for its smartphones which have become the world’s third-largest app marketplace. Now the company is readying the launch of AppGallery in India for all the Huawei and Honor smartphone users. A collaboration with Indus OS was previously announced by the company. And now Hungama, India’s leading digital entertainment company, has been on-boarded for AppGallery. 

Hungama to power Huawei’s AppGallery 

The Hungama streaming services will include Hungama Play and Hungama Music. Siddhartha Roy, COO, Hungama Digital Media said, “Our understanding of India’s digital landscape and its consumers has allowed us to create the most engaging music and video streaming services in the country. We are glad to partner with Huawei and offer our apps on the Huawei App Gallery to users in over 170 countries. We are certain that Huawei & HONOR device users will appreciate our apps for their wide library and intuitive interface.” 

With this integration, all the Huawei and Honor users will be able to enjoy a plethora of content. The Music platforms comprise of a multi-genre library with over 10 million songs and music videos. Users will get access to over 5000 movies in Hindi, English and regional languages with the help of Hun-gama Play. There are over 1500 short films, original shows, 7500+ hours of kids and TV content and 150,000+ short-format videos. This will enable AppGallery to become an open, engaging and diversified platform for all the users.
