EMUI 9.0: Highlights

The main key feature is a smooth and enhanced user experience with the company promising 12.9 percent better performance and 10 percent faster app load times. While the company didn’t elaborate a lot, it said that the essential UI elements including buttons have been moved to reduce complexity. EMUI 9.0 will also bring Huawei’s second-gen GPU Turbo. The new feature will improve gameplay even further and work with the App Assistant to deliver a non-intrusive gaming experience.

Besides these two, there will be gesture navigation, Digital WellBeing and a host of India-specific features which will be developed by the Huawei’s India software team. As mentioned in the presser, there will be support for 28 Indian languages, a custom local calendar, and deeper integration of PayTM.
