Huawei Y8s with Kirin 710 and dual selfie camera is official

Huawei’s new Y series handset has officially popped up online on its Jordan’s website. The all-new Huawei Y8s has been quietly announced on the company’s website. Looking at its specifications, it will be a mid-range handset. The pricing and availability are not yet out. We may see this phone pop-up in other countries soon. Let’s talk about the detailed specifications of the new Huawei phone. 

Huawei Y8s – Specifications 

Sports a 6.5-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and comes in two colours, Emerald Green and Midnight Black. It is powered by a Kirin 710 processor, an Octa-core processor with Mali G51-MP4. It will be running on EMUI 9.1 based on the Android 9 Pie. It is accompanied by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is a variant with 128GB of storage as well, but the RAM is capped at 4GB. The storage expansion is supported via a microSD card slot by up to 512GB.   

Speaking about the camera department, it has dual rear and dual front camera setup. On the rear you see 48MP sensor leading the charge alongside a 2MP sensor. On the front, the charge is led by an 8MP sensor and accompanied by a 2MP sensor. All this is powered by a 4000mAh capacity battery with 10W charging speed. 

The connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2+ BLE, micro USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of location services, it has GPS, APS, GLONASS, and BeiDou. The phone weighs 180 grams and has an 8.135 mm thickness, as per the official website.
