Huawei stunned the world with their latest P20 lineup of phones last month. We have some good news for folks who were waiting for these phones: the triple camera P20 Pro and the younger brother P20 Lite will arrive in India on April 24th and will be Amazon exclusives.
This is another feather in the cap for Amazon in India, with the OnePlus 6 also being an Amazon Exclusive. Flipkart has only managed to get exclusive rights to more budget phones yet losing the premium flagships to Amazon.
Huawei P20 Pro details
The Huawei P20 Pro which is the most powerful of the bunch comes with a Kirin 970 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. It comes with a premium glass and metal sandwich design in a unique two-tone finish. The display is a 2240 x 1080p resolution AMOLED panel, at an aspect ratio of 18.7:9, courtesy of the notch. However, Huawei gives you an option to switch off the notch. You also get 128GB of on-board storage and a 4000mAh battery inside.
The P20 pro’s best part is the triple camera setup. With a 40MP f/1.8 primary sensor coupled and a 20MP f/1.6 B/W sensor with an 8MP sensor for depth sensing. Along with the crazy hardware, the P20 pro comes with a ton of advanced software features that helped it score the highest ever DxO mark score of 109.
Huawei P20 Lite details
Coming to the smaller P20 Lite; it comes with a Kirin 659 which is more of a budget SoC and is assisted by 4GB of RAM. The display comes in at a Full-HD+ resolution and comes with a notch on the top. It comes with a 16MP f/2.2 primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor for depth sensing. There is a 3000mAh battery inside, which should keep the phone running for a full day of casual use.
Both the phones come with USB Type-C port and run Android Oreo 8.1 with EMUI 8.1 skin on top. Both of them also surprisingly come with the same 24MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
Unfortunately, the P20 itself is not coming to India yet. Also, we have no word on the prices of the phones yet. What do you think it will be? Do let us know in the comments section below.
