P10 and P10 Plus getting EMUI 8 officially

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus are finally getting the beta build of EMUI 8 which is based on the Android 8.0 Oreo. The beta build has been announced in Romania and will release globally soon. Huawei announced the EMUI 8 back at the launch of the Mate 10 series. 

The beta build for the EMUI 8 was launched exclusively in China in 2017 and now, it will be available globally, according to the Facebook page of the company. The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will also get VTR-L09C432B180, VTR-L29C432B180, VKY-L09C432B181, and VKY-L29C432B181 software versions along with this beta build.

Downloading the build on your units is an easy process. You just need to download the Beta app on your device and after your application’s approval, an OTA will be available in your P10/P10 Plus unit.

You will also be required to report any bugs or issues that appear on your device using the ROM. If the update seems too tedious for you, opting out of the program is comparatively easier and you can do so at any time.
