After a few pictures of the Huawei Nova 2s leaked online, the rumor mill started speculating the release of this phone. The Chinese company has officially announced that the much-talked-about phone will launch on December 7. The device was listed on TENAA a few days ago and thanks to that, we know all the main specs of the Nova 2s.
The phone boasts of a 6″ Full HD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The Nova 2s will have an 18:9 aspect ratio due to its resolution and yes, it will have minimum bezels. The fingerprint sensor will be mounted on the front as well and it is speculated that the device will have a glass rear.
Nova 2s will launch with dual cameras on the back and front. The selfie snappers will have a combination of 20MP + 16MP camera sensors and the main shooter on the phone will have a configuration of 20MP +20MP sensors for meticulous shots.
The phone is speculated to run on Kirin 960 chipset and the RAM is rumored to be 4GB. The device will run Android 8.0 Oreo with the EMUI 8.0 skin on top. This amazing phone will be priced at 2,999 Yuan (~$454) according to some websites.
The predecessor of this phone, the Nova 2 Plus, launched with 4GB RAM, dual rear cameras with 12MP + 5MP sensors while the selfie snapper had a 20MP sensor. You can buy a tempered glass for the 5.5″ display of this smartphone here!
The Nova 2s is launching on the same day as the Redmi 5 and 5 Plus. While Redmi 5 and 5 Plus are expected to take the smartphone market by storm, it will be interesting to see what Nova 2s brings to the table.
