Huawei has announced its next-generation truly wireless earbuds in India. The all-new Freebuds 3 is the company’s latest offering in the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) segment. Priced at Rs 12,990, Huawei claims the Freebuds 3 mark an industry first, as the pair is the world’s only open fit active noise cancelation enabled earbuds. Powered by the proprietary Kirin A1 chip, this pair brings intelligent sound system to the segment too. 

The Huawei Freebuds 3 will be available for purchase starting May 20 on Amazon India. As an added bonus, customers will  get the Huawei CP61 Wireless Charger along with the pair of earbuds. 

Huawei Freebuds 3 – Specifications and Features 

The Huawei Freebuds 3 ships with a set of 14mm high-precision and high-sensitivity dynamic drivers inside each earpiece, which reportedly offer studio-quality sound and thumping bass. As mentioned previously, the Freebuds 3 is the world’s first Active Noise Cancellation earphone which offers noise-cancellation in an open-fit form factor. The earphone comes with support for both, call noise reduction, and accurate real-time ANC. Per the brand, the best utilization of this feature is in the crowded, noisy area such as a metro or malls.

The earbuds ship with touch controls too, thereby allowing users to answer and end phone calls, or control their music playback as well. 

Huawei Freebuds 3 – Connectivity and Battery Life

As for connectivity, the Freebuds 3 connect to compatible devices via Bluetooth v5.1 and even come with a dedicated wearable chip which reportedly provides connectivity up to 150 meters. Speaking about the battery life, the Freebuds 3 offer a 20 hour playback and 4.5 hours ANC usage off of a single charge.
