HP Omen X 2S, Omen 15, and Pavilion Gaming 15 launched in India

The gaming laptop scene in India has been advancing at a massive rate, and HP is not one to be left behind. The company has refreshed a couple of its existing gaming laptops here in India. Namely, the HP Omen 15 and the HP Pavilion Gaming 15. However, the highlight is the launch of the HP Omen X 2S here in India, which is the first dual-screen laptop to enter the Indian market.

HP Omen X 2S specifications

The HP Omen X 2S comes with a 15.6-inch primary display that comes in 1080p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, there is also a 6-inch 1080p secondary display. As for the hardware, it can be configured up to a ninth-generation Intel Core i9 CPU, Nvidia RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics, and up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM. Additionally, users may also opt for Intel Optane storage. The Omen X 2S comes in a 20mm-thick chassis that is made of metal. There a proprietary thermal management technology that works using three-sided vents and supports five-way airflow. There is also a special liquid metal CPU thermal paste that is claimed to offer a thermal conductivity 10 times higher than ordinary silicone grease.

HP Omen 15 specifications

Similar to the HP Omen X 2S, the HP Omen 15 packs in a 15.6-inch 144Hz display panel with 1080p resolution. Under the hood, there is a ninth-gen Intel Core i9 CPU coupled with up to 16GB of RAM. As for graphics, you can outfit it with up to an Nvidia RTX 2080 Max-Q. It also supports the new Intel Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) that offers up to 3X faster file transfer speeds than Wi-Fi 5(802.11ac).

HP Pavilion Gaming 15 specifications

Lastly, HP has also updated the HP Pavilion Gaming 15 with the latest hardware. However, HP has also worked on reducing the overall frame of the device. The new Pavilion Gaming 15 comes with an eight percent decrease in height over the previous model while also being slightly thinner. Under the hood, users can choose between the latest 9th-gen Intel Core i5/i7 and couple it with up to 16GB of RAM. As for the graphics, this can be configured up to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with Max-Q design.
