Yesterday night, Apple released its latest version of the mobile operating system. The iOS 12 debuted with a range of interesting features that were in demand for quite a time now. The public release of the new iOS doesn’t get released until the fall. If you can’t help but wonder how those features works, then, you have stumbled upon the correct place. Today, we will guide in installing the iOS 12 developer beta on your iPhone.
Pre-requisite for iOS 12
You must have the compatible devices! This time also Apple has made its latest iOS available for almost all iPhones. And if you’re still confused about the compatibility of your iPhone. Then, all you should know is that if your device is running on iOS 11 right now, then, it’s good to go for iOS 12 as well.
Who can download iOS 12?
Only if you have an Apple developer’s account, which by the way costs $100/year. If you’re not a planning to create and sell apps, then, it doesn’t make sense to pay this much amount just to be the tester of what could be a buggy software.
Note: You can download the update over-the-air, or full build and then load it via iTunes or Xcode. If you’re new at this, then, we would suggest doing the update via an OTA.
Here’s how to install iOS 12 developer beta on your iPhone:
- Open the Settings from your home screen, then tap on General, now tap on Software update.
- It will check for update, make sure you’re logged in with the developer account. Once, the update appears, you have to tap on Download and Install.
