Honor View 20 could be launched with in-display camera on January 22

Honor recently launched the Honor Magic 2, its latest flagship device. However, the company seems to have already started churning its gears for its next device. The company has teased an event to be held on January 22. While no details have been shared about the device, the best bet right not is the Honor View 20.

Honor View 20 with in-display camera

As teased by Clinton Jeff, Senior Marketing at Honor, the company will be hosting an event on January 22. Tagged “See the Unseen”, the event will be held in Paris, France. The company hasn’t shared any details about which device they would be launching. However, the rumor mill suggests that the device in question could be the Honor View 20.

The Honor View 10 was launched in January this year. As such, announcing its successor almost exactly a year later does make sense. For now, there is no word on the Honor View 20 specs. However, we do know from the teaser that the device will feature an in-display selfie camera. Also, it could pack in the latest flagship processor from Huawei, the Kirin 980. The processor is already there in the recently launched Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

In-display camera the new trend?

It seems as if the in-display camera is said to be the new trend, replacing notched displays. Samsung is said to be announcing the Galaxy A8s with an Infinity-O display on December 12. It will soon be followed by Huawei’s Nova 4. While it isn’t really all that bezel-less, it could prove to be better than a notch up top. But what do you think? Would you rather have a notched display or an in-display camera? Let us know in the comments below.
