There are launches galore in June and here’s one more coming from Honor. And this one’s supposed to be a high-profile product from the Huawei sub-division. Honor has confirmed that an Honor Play device is arriving on June 6th. This announcement follows a statement of Richard Yu, Chief Executive Officer of the firm, who spoke about a technological breakthrough that is very scary (in a positive way).
His cryptic statement has raised more questions than it has answered. However, we draw our sights to the comments of Yu Chenfdong, Chairman of Huawei, who also referred to this new technology. As per him, the technology would affect the speed of smartphones and that it is like “flying in the sky” compared to what we’re using now. Furthermore, this will be a landmark technology for the company that will also find its place in other products.
What is this mysterious Honor Play smartphone?
Now, there are a lot of opinions regarding the exact nature of this mystery tech. Some are of the opinion that it could be a new CPU and a new NPU module. Others state that Huawei has been building a new operating system to rival Android and this could also be it. Yet others state that it could be a battery charging technology.
Besides this, the Honor Play will come equipped with a 4D gaming experience. What this actually entails is not yet known but we’ll find out soon enough. Also, the regular dose of AI marketing is present in the teaser of the Honor Play.
Besides the Honor Play, we’re looking forward to the Lenovo Z5, the Vivo Nex, and the Mi 8 launch taking place soon.
