Honor 9X and Honor Magic Watch 2 is set to arrive in India in January 2020

During a press briefing in Shenzhen, China, Honor has confirmed the India launch of Honor 9X and Honor Magic Watch 2 in January 2020. The company had launched the Honor 9X back in July in China while the Magic Watch 2 was launched last month. In addition to smartphones and smartwatches, the company has confirmed that it will introduce the Magic Book Laptop and Honor Vision TV next year in India in order to expand its product ecosystem in the country.

Honor 9X: Specifications

As the name suggests, the Honor 9X is an upgrade of the Honor 8X. The device features a 6.59-inch Full HD+ LCD display which doesn’t come with a notch, thanks to the 16MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera. This is, in fact, the first phone from the company to sport a Pop-Up Selfie Camera. The smartphone runs on the Kirin 710F processor and you get EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie, which means that you do will get Google services on board with the device. 

At the back you get a 48MP + 2MP + 8MP triple camera setup. There’s a 4000mAh battery on the Honor 9X that supports fast charging over USB Type-C. 

Honor Magic Watch 2: Specifications 

The Magic Watch 2 is touted to support up to 2 weeks of battery life. It comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes and both variants run on Huawei’s Kirin A1 chipset. The Watch GT2 was the first watch in India to run on the same processor. The smartwatch comes with 15 different fitness tracking modes, heart rate monitor and sleep tracking functionality. It also comes with water resistance up to 5ATM and support for Always On Display. You also get hands-free Bluetooth calling, offline music playback, and stress monitor.
