Honor 9 Lite with a dual camera setup on back and front, might launch in India this month

Honor 9 Lite

Honor has recently revealed its plan of launching a new smartphone with a dual rear and front camera setup in India. However, Huawei’s subsidiary brand has not announced which phone will they implement this design on. We have reasons to believe that it will be the Honor 9 Lite. The toned-down variant of the Honor 9 was launched in China in October 2017.

The company says, “The next smartphone is tailor-made for the selfie lovers with dual front cameras.”.

The Honor 9 Lite features a 5.65-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080p and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor accompanied by Mali T830-MP2 GPU, under the hood.

The Honor 7X Red colour edition will be available in many markets before Valentine’s day, read all about it here.

It features a dual rear camera setup with 13MP+2MP cameras along with an LED flash. The front contains a 13MP sensor in combination with a 2MP one. The device is equipped with a fingerprint scanner as well and the phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It has Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE, and a dual-SIM slot as connectivity options and is packed with a 3,000mAh battery.

The smartphone is available in three variants – 3GB of RAM+32GB ROM, 4GB of RAM+32GB ROM, 6GB of RAM+64GB ROM.

The Honor 9 Lite is available in four colours – Navy, Seagull Gray, Magic Nightfall, and Pearl White. The price of the device in China is 1199 Yuan which is approximately $182. We have reasons to believe that the smartphone will have a similar pricing in India too.
