Honor has brought its higher mid-range smartphone, Honor 30S to the market. The Chinese smartphone maker has introduced the much-awaited Honor 30S, a new family member in the 30-Series family. Packing in an impressive set of specs, and design language, it bring s a dual-mode 5G to the segment, thanks to Kirin’s 820 5G chipset. Let’s talk about the specifications and pricing below.
Honor 30S – Specifications
Sporting a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ resolution ISP display, it comes with a punch-hole design on the top left corner. It is powered by Kirin 820 5G, which is the latest in the 800 series processors. It brings 5G capabilities along with other performance improvements. The Cpu department is covered by eight-core architecture, while the GPU by six-core Mali-G57. It is further supported by Kirin ISP 5.0 image signal processor, which should bring flagship-level performance and advanced noise reduction in the camera department.
On the camera front, we have a quadruple rear cameras setup, where the primary lens is of 64MP resolution. There is an 8MP telephoto module with 3X optical zoom support and up to 20X digital zoom. Further, it has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. The selfie camera is of 16MP resolution sitting in the punch-hole cutout.
The software department packs Magic UI 3.1.1 based on the Android 10. But unfortunately, you won’t find any Google apps, as the Google Mobile Suite services are missing. The battery capacity of the phone is a 4000mAh, which is supported by a 40W fast charging technology.
Honor 30S – Price and Availability
Honor’s all-new phone is set to retail in four colours, black, blue, green, and gradient colours. The starting price of the phone is 2399 Yuan (25,500 approximately) for 8G + 128GB model. It will also be available in 256GB model for 2699 Yuan (Rs 28,500 approximately). The pre-orders for the Honor 30S has started, while the sale is scheduled for April 7. At the moment, we don’t know about the global availability of the phone.
