Honor 10 Lite launched in China, comes with waterdrop notch and Android 9 Pie

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has been on a roll, thanks a plethora of devices doing quite well in the smartphone market. The Honor Play, one of its most recent launches, is a great example of the same. The company had also launched the Honor 10 quite recently, which is the flagship smartphone from the brand. Now, the company has come out with its ‘lite’ variant as well, aptly named, the Honor 10 Lite.

Honor 10 Lite specifications

In terms of specifications, the Honor 10 Lite is the stripped down version of the Honor 10. The device comes with a 6.21-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display with a pixel density of 415ppi. There’s also a waterdrop notch at the top. It packs in the Kirin 710 SoC coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. As for storage, it comes with 64GB and 128GB storage options, which can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. 

For the camera, the Honor 10 Lite features a 13MP f/1.8 + 2MP dual camera set up at the back. Up front, there’s a 24MP f/2.0 sensor for selfie lovers. The entire setup is juiced up by a 3,400mAh battery. It ships with Android 9 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9.0.1 on top.

Honor 10 Lite price and availability

The Honor 10 Lite is priced at CNY 1399 (~ Rs. 14,400) for the 4+64GB variant, and CNY 1,699 (~Rs. 17,500) for the 6+64GB variant. Lastly, there is also a 6+128GB variant priced at CNY 1899 (~Rs. 19,500). It is available in four color variants – Gradient Blue, Gradient Red, Lily Valley White, and Magic Night Black. The device goes on sale in China starting November 22.
