Google Pixel Buds Pro Debut With ANC and a Promised Spatial Audio Support

Google Pixel Buds Pro earbuds went official at the company’s I/O 2022 event. They cost $199 (~Rs 15,500) and will be available for preorder this July 21st in the US. The Pro models fairly resemble older Google Pixel Buds concerning design. They come with a charging case and a two-tone design. While they come with a matte finish, they feature four colour options: Coral, Lemongrass, Fog and Charcoal. Pixel Buds Pro are promised to be giving an 11-hour listening time or up to seven hours while ANC is ON. The new Pro buds also feature IPX4 water resistance.

Google Pixel Buds Pro with ANC & Transparency mode

The Pixel Buds Pro feature multipoint connectivity to swiftly pair and shift between connected Bluetooth devices — phones, tablets, or TVs. The earbuds feature Google Assistant, triggered with the ‘Hey Google’ command, and the digital assistant can translate around 40 languages in real-time. The Buds Pro comes with Active Noise Cancellation support next to Transparency mode, which lets you hear the ambient noise to be aware of the surroundings or to listen to announcements at a substation.

Built with 6-core audio chip

The ANC appears to be the prominent feature on the Google Pixel Buds Pro. They’re built around a six-core audio chip that supposedly runs Google’s in house developed algorithms and is further tuned by the audio engineering team. Apart from the ANC, the Pixel Buds Pro uses Silent Seal that adapts to your ear and promises to cancel out maximum ambient noise. These buds further feature sensors to measure pressure in your canal to have a snug fit that ensures you listen to audio Pixel Buds Pro for extended periods.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro comes with Volume EQ options for fine-tuning. The other prominent feature is the support for Spatial Audio that is promised to deliver later this year by Google.
