Samsung has officially announced the launch of Galaxy S9/S9+ due in the MWC 2018. The announcement was made in the Consumer Electronics Show this year and has confirmed rumours which suggested the same, some time ago.
A Chinese tech blog has revealed the complete specs of the two devices. According to this blog, the Galaxy S9 will have a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The bigger of the two phones, the S9+ will feature a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display with the same aspect ratio.
Both the phones have been stated to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor while some units will be powered by the Exonys 9810 chipset. The phones are likely to sport multiple variants, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM and the second with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM.
The smaller of the two devices, the Galaxy S9 will sport a single camera with 12MP sensor and OIS. The Galaxy S9+ will have dual cameras with a setup of 12MP + 12MP sensors and double OIS. The front camera on both the devices will have an 8MP sensor.
