Fitbit Versa 2, Fitbit Aria Air and Fitbit Premium launched in India

Fitbit is slowly but steadily growing here in India. The company has already launched a handful of products here in India. Now, the company has launched another smartwatch, a smart scale, and a premium subscription. Let’s see what the Fitbit Versa 2, Fitbit Aria Air, and Fitbit Premium is all about.

Fitbit Versa 2 smartwatch specifications

The Fitbit Versa 2 comes with an AMOLED display that is water-resistant up to 50 meters. It comes with an anodized aluminum finish that is both lightweight and comfortable to wear during longer durations. The Versa 2 also comes with a faster processor than its predecessor and it comes with an optional always-on display mode and it can deliver more than two days of battery life. In terms of sensors, you get a bunch of sensors that measure details such as your quality of sleep, your sleep cycle and oxygen levels in their bloodstream. The Versa 2 also comes with support for Amazon Alexa. Thanks to the on-device microphone, you can interact with Amazon’s virtual assistant directly.

Fitbit Aria Air smart scale specifications

The Fitbit Aria Air is a smart scale that works together with the Fitbit app. It allows the user to calculate a user’s BMI giving them a comprehensive view of their trends over time alongside their activity, heart rate, sleep and nutrition data. Users can also set a healthy weight goal in the Fitbit app, log their food and view their weight trends alongside calories in and out to stick to a plan based on their personal goals.

Fitbit Premium Health Service

Fitbit Premium is a health service launched by the company here in India. Fitbit Premium is a paid subscription service in the Fitbit app that gives “most personalized” results to users with actionable guidance and coaching.

“At launch, Premium includes nine guided health and fitness programs that help you get more sleep, wake up energized, increase your activity, manage nutrition and create lasting healthy habits, including: Intro to Healthy Habits, Get More Zzz’s, Habits for Restful Sleep, Get Active, Beginner Running, Run Training, Understand Calories, Kick Your Sugar Habit and Kick Your Salt Habit,” Fitbit wrote in a press release.

Pricing and availability

The Fitbit Versa 2 has been priced at Rs. 20,999, and will be available in a carbon case, petal with a copper rose aluminum case, and stone with a mist grey case color variants. Additionally, there is also the Versa 2 Special Edition, which is available in navy and pink with a copper rose aluminum case and smoke with a mist grey case color variants, which is priced at Rs. 22,999. The Fitbit Aria Air is priced at Rs. 4,999 and it will be available in black and white color variants. Lastly, Fitbit Premium is priced at Rs. 819 per month, while the annual subscription is priced at Rs. 6,999.
