Dell and Alienware team up for gaming innovations at CES 2020

Dell had entered the world of multimedia home entertainment back in 2002. Alienware’s Area-51m laptop revolutionized the world of portable gaming. Now an almost a decade later, both companies continue their commitment to gaming innovation with CES 2020. Here’s a brief look at what the brands have showcased. 

Dell G5 15 SE (Special Edition)

The Dell G5 15 SE (Special Edition) is the first G series laptop to run on 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 4000-H Series Mobile Processors. The processors are paired with AMD Radeon RX 56000M GPUs. The two chips work together seamlessly using AMD SmartShift technology. This helps in optimizing performance for the task at hand by automatically shifting power between the Ryzen processor and GPU. You can do this switch using the dedicated “Game Shift” macro key. The laptop looks like a fighter plane with a silver finish and metallic accents. 

The display is a 15.6-inch FHD unit and you can opt for a 144Hz refresh rate variant as well. The price of the laptop starts at $799.99 (Rs.57,000)

Alienware 25 AW2521HF Gaming Monitor

The new gaming monitor from Alienware features a whopping 240Hz refresh rate. With 1ms of gray-to-gray response rate, every pixel will be ready for every frame. MD FreeSync™ Premium technologyand NVIDIA G-SYNC® Compatibility provide a buttery-smooth gaming experience. You will enjoy cleaner visuals and the 24.5″ size is ideal for an immersive gaming experience. For a better aesthetic appeal, the engineers at Alienware have come up with the iconic Legend design for the monitor. 

The Alienware AW2521HF is the official gaming monitor for the League Of Legends global events. The monitor is priced at $499.99 (Rs.36,000). 


Alienware Second Screen  

Lastly, the company has introduced the Second Screen, a new concept software for gamers. With this software, you can view your PC stats and performance directly on your smartphone. The software will synchronize with Alienware Command Center to present CPU and RAM diagnostics in real-time on your connected smartphone.
