Call of Duty Mobile Beta live on Android, is called Call of Duty: Legends of War

Battle Royale is the genre that gaming is headed towards these days. Games such as PUBG and Fortnite are leading this front, both on consoles and mobiles. In fact, PUBG Mobile recently won the Google Play Store’s award as the best mobile game. As such, a lot of developers are wanting to adopt this genre and duplicate the success. While many of them have already done it, another new entrant is Call of Duty Mobile. The latest launch in the series is the Call of Duty: Legends of War, and it brings the much awaited COD-styled battle royale to smartphones.

Call of Duty: Legends of War

Activision has teamed up with Tencent Games to release Call of Duty: Legends of War. The game is the company’s newest first-person shooter for the Android platform. It brings forth the same Call of Duty experience mixed with the battle royale genre. For those of you that also game on consoles or PC, the experience is said to be similar to the Blackout mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops IV. 

The game features fast-paced multiplayer action. There are also multiple modes such as Free4All, Search & Destroy, Team Deathmatch and Frontline. The game also includes the much-loved zombie mode where you face bots on a leveled basis. It features iconic characters from the franchise. So, you can play as Price, Ghost, and more. As expected, the game makes use of microtransactions. You can pay for the in-game currency to customize your character and weapons.

As for the maps, the game currently has Killhouse, Hijacked, Crossfire, Standoff, and Crash. There’s also the much beloved and signature Nuketown map as well.

Call of Duty: Legends of War availability

Call of Duty: Legends of War has officially been launched only in Australia. Call of Duty mobile is currently in Beta testing. A stable update of the game is expected to come in the next couple of days, followed by a global release. Also, for now, the game is only available on Android. There is no word on the iOS front for now, but we expect an announcement to come soon.
