Audio products maker Boult Audio has come with a new TWS in India — the AirBass XPods. They retail at Rs 999, which the company says is an exclusive launch price for a limited time on Flipkart. However, the lisitng now suggests that they retail at Rs 1,299. The XPods feature in two colour variants, Black and White, and come with a one year warranty.

AirBass XPods – Design and features

Boult Audio suggests that these AirBass XPods are aimed at users who seek the best in performance and quality at an affordable price range. The XPods come in a smooth finish, which utilises a mix of gloss finish on the outside and a dual-tone matte finish. The buds themselves come in a stem design, and they sport an oval shape, which promises a snug fit to the ears. Not just the fit, but they promise additional noise cancellation as well. The stems also comprise microphones for calls and feature touch controls for audio playback. The controls here include:

  • Answering/rejecting calls.
  • Volume adjustments.
  • Play/pause/skip tracks.
  • Triggering your device’s voice assistant with a single touch/tap.

The XPods come in a charging case that can charge these buds thrice, offering a 20-hour battery backup. The buds, however, provide a five-hour audio playback on a single charge.
