BlackBerry Keyone is getting a BlueBorne vulnerability fix

BlackBerry Keyone getting an update

BlueBorne vulnerability is a pretty serious issue due to which your device can be hacked by any individual. It involves taking control of a device through Bluetooth connectivity and no, keeping your device hidden won’t help you in any way. Many brands were suffering due to this issue and the latest one to solve it is BlackBerry. The Keyone phone of BlackBerry has the BlueBorne vulnerability and now, the Canadian company has finally decided to curb it.

Do you know about the BlackBerry Motion and its arrival in Canada?

AT&T has started pushing out a new update for the Keyone and controlling blueborne vulnerability is the prime motive behind it. The update is coming as the build number AAP606 and is 40 MB in size.

The light update will also fix more issues as it is coming out as an OTA update. Coming as a security patch update for the month of October, it will probably make your Keyone device better than ever!

Since it is a trend with all OTA updates to come out after some time on all units, don’t lose heart if your Keyone has not got a notification for it. Believe in AT&T and enjoy the seamless experience after this update.
