ASUS is going to launch the ZenFone 7 series on August 26. All the ASUS fans can rejoice now. We didn’t know much about the upcoming Zenfone model. But some more information about ZenFone 7’s display has been revealed in a new leak popped up online. What is the new info? Let us find out the same below.
Asus ZenFone 7 Rumour Specs
The Asus ZenFone 7 will supposedly feature a 6.4-inch full-HD+ 60Hz LCD display with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor since LCD panels cannot use In-display fingerprint sensors. The ZenFone 7 will also come with a dual-SIM card and a dedicated microSD card slot, meaning you will not have to compromise on usability. This news was revealed by Japanese blog Reameizu, wherein the Asus ZenFone 7 will come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ display from BOE. It will be LCD and have a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
The fingerprint sensor will supposedly be made by Goodix and it has the sensor IC of “gf3626”, which is the same one found on the HONOR X10 that features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The reports also confirm that the ZenFone 7 by Asus will come with the Snapdragon 865 SoC, as confirmed by Qualcomm, the makers of Snapdragon chips.
Additionally, tipster Abhishek Yadav shared on Twitter that the ZenFone 7 will have a triple-rear camera in terms of the optics, with a primary 64-megapixel Sony IMX 686 sensor paired with a 12 megapixel Sony IMX 363 sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a TOF sensor.
