Apple iPod Touch with Group FaceTime and Augmented Reality support launched at $199

For someone looking for an upgrade to their iPod touch, there is a new announcement shared by Apple on its website. The Cupertino giant has launched Apple iPod Touch with support of two interesting features. The Group FaceTime and Augmented Reality have made their way to the iPod experience. Let’s talk more about the new Apple iPod Touch below. 

Apple iPod Touch: What’s new?

With the Apple-designed A10 Fusion chipset, it claims to bring better gaming performance. While its Group FaceTime would make chatting with family members, friends, or colleagues simultaneously easier. 

Apple’s VP of Product Marketing, Greg Joswiak, quotes, they are making the most affordable iOS device even better with performance improvements. Claiming the new iPod Touch is twice as fast from the previous generation. 

With a thinner profile than any other smart device out there in its profile, the iPod touch is the perfect device for enjoying games, music, and much more on the go. To make space for more music, and more games, Apple has added an option of 256GB storage capacity model. 

How much would it cost for me to buy a new Apple iPod Touch?

The price starts from $199 for the 32GB model, while the 128GB model will cost you $299. If you want to spend more and get the highest storage variant with 256GB storage. Then it will cost you $399. Note that the new iPod Touch is available in six finishes including space grey, white, gold, blue, pink, and Red. 


When can you purchase the new Apple iPod Touch?

Apple says its new iPod Touch can be ordered from their website and Apple store app starting today. While the availability in offline stores would be later this week. No specific date shared by the brand.
