Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 4 could launch soon and this information has been disclosed by the leaked invite. If this is authentic, we might get to see the new and improved version of the Kindle Paperwhite on October 17 in Beijing, China. However, if rumours are to be believed, the gadget could launch globally on the same date as well.
The previous rumours have also revealed the presence of Bluetooth and Audible support on the e-reader. These features are already supported on the premium Kindle Oasis and the entry-level Kindle. Amazon launches a new upgrade of its affordable Kindle Paperwhite once in every two years, hence, the “4” at the end. The Kindle Paperwhite 4 has also been rumoured to carry a colour temperature system for candlelight effect. This will ensure a lesser strain on your eyes at night.
On the other hand, the leaked image of the product doesn’t show many changes design-wise. The thick bezels can still be expected to show up on the e-reader. However, a new flush glass surface like that of the Kindle Oasis could be expected to make a debut on the Kindle Paperwhite 4. The Paperwhite is Amazon’s best-selling backlit e-reader.
Along with all the functions, the device could benefit hugely from Amazon’s abundant content and services. The company launched Prime Reading in India some time ago. This enables the Amazon Prime customers to read whatever they want without paying anything extra than their membership. Since it’s been some time that we saw an upgrade to Kindle, the rumours and leaks could turn out to be true.
