Amazon Freedom Sale starts on August 9th: here’s what you can expect

India is all set to celebrate its Independence Day on the 15th of this month and Amazon will do its part by kicking off the Freedom Sale in a few days. The sale starts at 12 am (midnight) on August 9 and will end on 11:59 pm on August 12, 2018. The online retailer is already teasing the sale on its platform and the Freedom Sale page gives us a sneak peek at what is to come in a few days time.

During the short festival, there will be 100+ launches and 20,000+ deals spread across more than 200 categories. Of course, this will include smartphones, consumer electronics like TVs laptops, cameras, and much more.

Speaking more specifically about smartphones, we will probably see details emerge later, but we do know that there will be offers from brands like OnePlus, Huawei, Honor, Samsung, Vivo, RealMe, and Xiaomi. There will be no-cost EMIs, exchange offers, and mobile protection schemes as well. Additionally, SBI card users will get 10% cash backs. Amazon is promising up to 40% off on mobiles and accessories during the sale.
