The alleged pictures of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s were fake!

The app behind fake pictures of Mi Mix 2s

Yesterday, we informed you about some pictures which surfaced the internet. People were calling them the Mi Mix 2s and we were taken aback because the top cut out of the phone looked exactly like the iPhone X!

It has been confirmed now that those pictures were fake as that cut out was created through an app called XOutOf10! Yes, you’re thinking along the right lines. Anyone can get the same top notch as the iPhone X with this app. No matter which phone you have!

The internet has been leaking all the important phones but it seems like Xiaomi is a little too vigilant about their products, especially the Mi Mix 2s. What are your expectations from the next phone in the Mi Mix flagship?

Apple has been leading the market with various innovations through the years. They were the first to ditch the 3.5mm audio jack and as expected, all the other brands followed suit by ditching it. It is just a matter of time before we see another brand doing the same with their top notch.

However, the Android-based phones have quite a bad history with that kind of notch, like in the Essential phone. But it would be interesting to see how companies like Samsung rise up to the challenge!
